I am a decendant of Samuel Hainsworth Miller of Adel Mill Adel Leeds. Samuel was the great grandson of James Hainsworth (b1665)of Farsely in the Calverly parish of Pudsey. I have researched the family back to mid 1550 in some detail. There are several Marriages into the Gaunt Family, and the successive generations were Clothiers and sheep farmers in the North Leeds area through to Hampsthwaite and Roundhay. My Grandfather Emigrated from Harrogate to New Zealand in 1925 with his young Family.
